Bring a friend and enjoy the fine food and the company of some pretty special people. Donations of cakes, pies, etc. are needed. This event is presented twice yearly to help pay taxes.

Quilt Raffle

Charlie Younkins and the ladies of the League are creating a quilt representing the years of change

at The League. This quilt will be raffled off at the 2010 Music Camp held June 11 & 12. Tickets will be sold at events throughout the year. You will see this quilt being made while the Sunday Music events are held. Bring your thimbles and needles ladies.

MUSIC CAMP & JAM

June 11 & 12, 2010

Our 2009 festival was a huge success and for that we are most appreciative. This year, thanks to a generous grant from “Armstrong County Community Foundation”, our 2010 two-day event will be supercharged. We are proud to announce that

John Standerfer (Finger Picking Guitar) from California and Ric Chamberlin ( Bass & Guitar) from Alaska will be heading our great list of instructors. Check out our flyers-this year is REALLY A GREAT DEAL ! Let’s get the word out by putting flyers in high traffic areas, i.e.: supermarkets, churches, etc. Don’t forget to tell your friends and invite them to become members of The League.

Self-contained camping will be available for the two-day event. There will  be no open stage, just jamming on the League grounds - around a campfire, on the pavilion or in the parking lot, etc.

~~ A SPECIAL NOTE  ~~

We have received several donations from our members consisting of time, equipment, housing and travel for instructors during Music Camp, etc. These donations not only are GREATLY APPRECIATED, but also help in the filing of future grants.  Again, THANK YOU !!!
