Advanced level Banjo students should have a good grasp of "Scruggs-style."  Also, advanced students should know a few standard Bluegrass Banjo tunes

 and play them at a moderate Bluegrass tempos.  I'd like to work with

students on "up-the-neck" breaks and back-up, tone, fiddle tunes, hot-licks, Melodic-style, single string techniques, different tunings, perfecting a style/sound of your own.  Students, have a list of what you want to learn from the class. Video and tape recorders are welcome.
